Faith Community Christian Church

Our goals are simple, yet challenging at the same time. It is through God's direction that we will be able to accomplish them.

The first goal is to reach out to visitors and make them feel welcome. We know it can be hard attending a new church and not knowing anyone. We hope to help you ease into our midst and become a regular attender.

Weekly visits to visitors will be another way for us to reach out. the plan is to deliver church information and baked goodies to them. But also to introduce ourselves and invite them back. Plus we both will have made a new friend. (Hope to get this going by March.)

The other goal is to strengthen out church family. As in any family, the stronger we are the more we can do. We will gradually introduce different ways to do this.

1. Donut Sunday - 1st Sunday of every month (9:30-9:50) We will meet in fellowship hall to eat and visit. Each Sunday school class will have a turn to host. (Starting March 4th)

2. Supper for Six - This is a voluntary activity. Each month 3 different families will get together for dinner. Each family will contrigute something to the meal. One will host-they will make the main part of the meal and drinkd. The second family will bring the side dish and the third will bring dessert. The hosts can decide if they want to cook, go out to eat-be creative. This is a time for fellowship in a relaxed atmosphere. the next month they will be with 2 other families. (Plan to start in March)

In the future we will work with the youth group to help the older folks with chores/yard work. It is an opportunity for the youth to get to know more people in the church. These chores will vary but the main goal is fellowship with out church family.

God is awesome and I believe He is guiding this committee. If we can be of service to you, Please call the church office 390-1000.
