Faith Community Christian Church


The Ministry of Stewardship is charged with the responsibility of informing the membership of the opportunities for spiritual service in commitment of their time, talents and resources. The committee will have full responsibility to draft the budget, review it as the year progresses and request changes if needed.

General Responsibilities

  1. Promote the concept of tithing and regular giving.
  2. Encourage stewardship of human resources.
    1. Seek commitment of special abilities to service in the church.
    2. Emphasize the stewardship of time and energy to the church program.
  3. Encourage giving to Outreach causes.
  4. Find opportunities to initiate a continuing stewardship education plan.
  5. Regularly review the church's financial status and inform the membership.
  6. Solicit recommendations from the cabinet regarding their monetary needs to establish an annual budget.
  7. Oversee the receipt of all memorial donations and appropriately acknowledge such gifts.
  8. Conduct an annual stewardship commitment campaign.
